Meet The Founder
Hi, I’m Jordan Truax, the founder of Core Capture. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and several years of hands-on experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry, particularly in commercial and industrial settings.
Before starting Core Capture, I worked as an Architectural Designer in both architecture and engineering firms. One of which has consistently ranked among ENR’s Top 500 Engineering Firms. While working as an Architectural Designer I had the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of complex projects. That’s where I was first introduced to 3D scanning and point clouds—and I quickly saw how valuable they could be. Compared to traditional methods, the improvements in speed, accuracy, and overall coordination were hard to ignore.
With guidance from some of the best professionals in the field, I became highly proficient in laser scanning and BIM modeling. I use industry-leading tools to turn real-world spaces into accurate point clouds and detailed models that teams can rely on throughout a project’s lifecycle.
I started Core Capture to make high-quality scanning and modeling more accessible—so architects, engineers, and facility managers can start their projects smart and design with confidence.
